Prices
How is the price of a bar set?
Each bar's price is its metal value plus a fixed premium. The metal value is the live spot price per gram, converted to dirhams at the pegged rate of 3.6725, times the bar's weight and fineness (0.9999 for gold, 0.999 for silver). The premium covers minting or casting, insurance and handling, and is shown separately on every product page.
Where does the live price come from?
From the international spot market for gold (XAU) and silver (XAG) in US dollars per troy ounce. Our server refreshes it continuously and every price on the site, in the bag and at checkout comes from that same feed, so what you see is what you are charged.
What happens if the price moves while I pay?
Prices stay live while you fill in checkout. When you press Get my price, our server fixes your total for a few seconds and shows a timer. Confirm before it ends and you pay that price. If it runs out you see the new live total and can get a fresh price.
Why do small bars cost more per gram?
Minting, packaging and certifying a 1 gram bar costs almost as much as a 100 gram bar, so the premium is a larger share of a small bar's price. Larger and cast bars carry the lowest premium per gram.
Is VAT charged on gold bars?
In the UAE, investment gold and silver of 99% purity or more is zero-rated for VAT. Every bar we sell is 999.0 or finer, so no VAT is added to your total.
The bars
Are the bars genuine?
We sell PAMP Suisse bars and Alam Asbaiek bars. PAMP minted bars are sealed in their CertiPAMP assay card with a serial number that matches the bar; cast bars carry their serial number and assay certificate. Keep minted bars sealed to protect their resale value.
What is the difference between minted and cast bars?
Minted bars are struck from a blank and polished, with a design such as Lady Fortuna, and come sealed in an assay card. Cast bars are poured into a mould, have a softer finish and a lower premium per gram, which suits larger holdings.
What do 24K, 999.9 and 999.0 mean?
24 karat is pure gold. 999.9 means 99.99% gold, the highest standard for investment bars. Our silver bars are 999.0, or 99.9% silver.
What is a tola?
A tola is a traditional unit used across the Gulf and South Asia, equal to 11.6638 grams. We list tola bars alongside gram and ounce sizes.
Ordering, delivery and collection
How do I pay?
Confirm your order at the fixed price and our sales desk confirms it with you by phone, then sends a secure payment link. Card details are never entered on this site.
Do you deliver?
Yes, by insured courier anywhere in the UAE, with signature on delivery. Delivery is free. You can also collect from our Dubai showroom with your Emirates ID once payment has cleared.
Do I need ID?
Yes. As a dealer in precious metals in the UAE we verify the identity of our customers, and larger purchases need a copy of your Emirates ID or passport. Bring the same ID when collecting.
Can I cancel an order?
Because the price is fixed to a moving market, an order confirmed at a fixed price is a commitment to buy at that price. If something is wrong with your order, contact the sales desk straight away and we will help.
